Entry Period:
The giveaway begins on November 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM EST and ends on December 24, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST.

Eligibility

Open only to legal residents of Maine, 18 years or older at the time of entry, whose wedding/event location is within 50 miles of our location in Winthrop, ME. Employees, officers, directors, and their immediate family members of Event Rent ME, LLC are not eligible.
Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

How to Enter (Two Methods)

Method 1 – Online Entry (Facebook)

  1. Follow @EventRentME on Facebook
  2. Like the original giveaway post (https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1YPRLAn4ZD/)
  3. Comment or “@highlight” on the original giveaway post
  4. Share the original giveaway post publicly
  5. Submit the official entry form at eventrentme.com/pages/2026-wedding-giveaway

Entries must remain public and entrants must still be following the page at the time the winner is announced on December 25, 2025.
Limit one (1) online entry per person.
Mail-in entries have equal odds of winning.

Method 2 – Free Mail-In Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE)

Hand-print the following on a postcard:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • The couple’s full names (if entering on someone else’s behalf)

Must be postmarked by December 20, 2025 and received by December 24, 2025.
Limit one (1) mail-in entry per person.

Prize (One Winner)

A one-time $2,000 credit toward Event Rent ME rental products and services for a 2026 wedding.
Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $2,000 USD

Prize Details & Restrictions

  • Credit applies only to available rental equipment and services
  • Credit is valid only for rentals related to a 2026 wedding and cannot be applied to other events or personal use.
  • Wedding/event must occur in 2026 and be within 50 miles of Winthrop, ME
  • If total exceeds $2,000, winner pays the difference
  • If already booked, a refund of up to $2,000 may be issued
  • Unused credit is forfeited
  • Prize is non-transferable and has no cash value
  • Event Rent ME does not provide a venue; winner must secure their own location

  • Winner is responsible for all applicable taxes
  • Credit is one-time use only

Winner Selection & Notification

One (1) winner will be selected via random drawing on Facebook Live on December 25, 2025 at approximately 12:00 PM EST.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Winner will be notified via Facebook message and/or email within 48 hours and must respond within 7 days to claim the prize. Failure to respond will result in selecting an alternate winner.

Publicity Release

By accepting the prize, the winner grants Event Rent ME permission to use:

  • Name
  • Likeness
  • Wedding photos
  • Event details

for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

General Conditions

Event Rent ME reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway due to:

  • Technical issues
  • Fraud
  • System failures
  • Other causes beyond Sponsor control

Event Rent ME is not responsible for:

  • Lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries
  • Technical failures or submission errors

All decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding.

Privacy

Information collected will be used solely to administer the giveaway and will not be sold or shared.

Taxes

The winner is responsible for paying the state of Maine sales and use tax of 5.5%. They will also receive an IRS Form 1099-MISC that will need to be filed with their taxes.
